Biography
Alisha trained as a CliftonStrengths coach in 2016 and is passionate about helping people to discover, develop, and share their God-given gifts with confidence. Alisha has extensive experience teaching in the Christian School sector in Christchurch and is currently lecturing in the Education department at Laidlaw College. She is also studying Career Development, with a focus on career development in education.
Since becoming an accredited Teams coach in 2017, Alisha has enjoyed working with several education and church teams, supporting them to celebrate each individual’s contribution and to collaborate with confidence.
Alisha and her husband served for six years as volunteer staff at Teen Missions International Australia, where they lectured for the Bible, Missionary, and Work training programme and provided pastoral care for students. Here they also helped train leaders and lead teams on the summer mission programme.
In her spare time, Alisha enjoys encouraging teenage girls and women in their faith by writing, collecting, and sharing stories of God at work in the everyday lives of people.
Alisha lives in Christchurch with her husband, Andrew, and their three teenage children.
“My loves in life are pretty simple: God, family, and people. I’ve done a lot of different things in my life, but they all centre around my passion for encouraging people and helping them thrive in who they were created to be.”
