I am the proud husband of my talented wife Haley who is the Director of her own interior design company, and we are the parents of four children. I love to surf, the ocean melts away stress and fills my wairua so I can come back to a place of hauora and give my best.

For the past 16+ years, I have worked in the youth and community development sector in a Team Leader and Senior Management position. As of late, I have been in the position of the MOE Attendance Service Manager for Ōtautahi. This role involves advocating for rangatahi / whānau in schools, reconnecting them in education, advocating at a national level in MOE and OT for change and better outcomes for Maori. I have loved helping people identify and develop their potential, owning their story and allowing them to dream of future aspirations.
